Torchlight is an action role-playing hack and slash dungeon crawler video game developed by Runic Games and published by Perfect World Entertainment. It was released for Windows in October 2009.

Set in the fictional town of Torchlight, players explore dungeons and caverns to collect loot and battle monsters. The game features three character classes - the Destroyer, Alchemist, and Vanquisher, each with unique abilities. Torchlight has a retirement system where players can pass heirloom items to new characters, similar to a New Game Plus mode.
